RGS FIRE-PROOF ROLLER SHUTTER
Trouble-free service and convenience
Fire-proof scrolling shutters are custom-made according to the customer’s dimensional requirements. They are tested according to European standards (ČSN EN) and can be supplied in various versions.
Thanks to its simple structural design, the installation takes up a minimal amount of space. The horizontal lamellas, manufactured from high-quality galvanized zinc-plated sheet profiles, are joined together by a locking joint. The lateral guide rails ensure smooth vertical movement of the scrolling shutter. The doorjamb and header are lined with an insulation profile produced from an intumescent material.
TYPES OF ROLLER SHUTTERS
Insulated RGS-60 – EI 60 (EI 120) insulated lamellas each 150 mm tall and 60 mm thick with a perfectly interrupted thermal bridge
  • insulation density of 30 kg/m3 for the EI 60 class door
  • insulation density of 35 kg/m3 for the EI 120 class door
  • considering the large diameter of the rolled-up shutter, the motor is always placed outside the drum and power is transferred through cog wheels placed on the shafts of the drum and motor
  • individual lamellas can be fitted during the installation
  • can also be used for sound insulation
  • diameter of rolled-up shutter: 670–950 mm
  • certified without requiring a cover for the rolled-up shutter
Non-insulated RGS-NI
  • non-insulated thin-walled sheet lamellas each 100 mm tall
  • the motor shaft can be attached directly to the shaft of the main drum (does not apply for FS motors)
  • drum and shutter can only be installed as a single unit
  • diameter of rolled-up shutter: 310–500 mm
  • certified without requiring a cover for the rolled-up shutter
Insulated RGS-H - EI 60 to 120 DP1-C3, EW 180 DP1-C3 combination of insulated and non-insulated lamellas that slide horizontally with a perfectly interrupted thermal bridge for the insulated lamellas
  • the non-insulated lamellas, which are scrolled onto the drum, drag the insulated lamellas along a horizontal steel structure (similar to sectional doors)
  • benefit of maintaining a low head (450 mm) and high fire resistance for doors
  • diameter of rolled-up shutter: 310 – 500 mm
SURFACE FINISHING
Zinc-plated
  • plating with high-quality galvanized zinc-plated sheets, which need no further surface treatment
Color coating
  • RAL according to the purchaser’s selection – Individual lamellas are delivered already painted
  • considering the nature of scrolling shutters, which cause the lamellas to rub against one another, no guarantee against damage to the coating can be provided
GATE CONTROL
FS (fail-safe) motor with FSTronic control
  • industrial motor with long cycle life up to 100,000 cycles
  • 3x400 V/10 A supply
  • under normal operation, the motor opens and closes the gate
  • in case of an alarm, the gate closes by gravity (fail-safe)
  • the gate cannot be opened mechanically
  • power must be transferred from the motor to the drum by a drive chain
FDF motor with FSTronic 24 control
  • industrial motor with long cycle life up to 100,000 cycles
  • 3x400 V/10 A supply
  • under normal operation, the motor opens and closes the gate
  • in case of an alarm, the gate is closed by means of a 24 V DC battery powered reserve motor
  • the gate can be opened mechanically
SI (KE) motor with 6RM4 control
  • industrial motor with long cycle life up to 100,000 cycles
  • SI motor is intended for RGS-NI and is placed directly onto the shaft
  • KE motor is intended for RGS-60 and power is transferred to the drum by a drive chain
  • 1x230 V/20 A supply
  • under normal operation, the motor opens and closes the gate
  • smooth operation thanks to the frequency inverter increases the life of the gate
  • speed can be easily regulated on the frequency inverter
  • in case of an alarm, the motor closes the gate by means of the UPS emergency power supply
  • the gate can be opened mechanically
  • optionally, the gate can be opened electronically from the UPS emergency power supply
  • If this option is required, it is necessary to contact the manufacturer to determine the size of the UPS (standard UPS sized only for closing).
Tubular motor with Rolltronic control
  • tubular motor is not appropriate for a constant load
  • only for control in “dead man” mode
  • only for RGS-NI up to 7 m2
ELECTRONIC ACCESSORIES
Siren with warning light
  • FLASHNI low-consumption light and sound signalization of door motion
Autonomous detection system
  • control device for closing doors in locations not equipped with EFS
  • two detectors are supplied as standard, with one installed on either side of the door
  • detectors are supplied in these variants: smoke, temperature and combined
Motion detector
  • infrared motion sensor responding to movement in front of the door
  • after the door opens, it then automatically closes after a set time
Remote control
  • single- or multi-channel mobile remote control device in industrial configuration allowing remote door opening
  • a receiver, which is not a standard part of the control unit, must be installed in order to use the remote control
Pull switch
  • a pull switch ensures automatic opening for transit of materials handling machinery
Photodetector
  • safety optical sensing strip emits multiple beams for motion detection
  • prevents collision of closing doors with a passing person or object
Bottom safety strip
  • safety strip using the system of OSE or 8K2 optical strips placed in the aluminum profile
  • must be installed along with a control unit for the bottom safety strip
MECHANICAL ACCESSORIES
Roll-up cover
  • compact cover of the rolling track with individual parts from zinc-plated sheets
  • installation is not necessary for fire resistance; the door is tested and certified even without the cover
TECHNICAL SHEET
Technical sheets serve for determining the basic spatial requirements of the fireproof scrolling shutters. Other dimensions, as well as special needs, can be worked out upon request.

The customer organizes structural preparations of the transit opening according to the supplier’s requirements and according to the type of doorjamb and header of the transit opening.

Anchoring consoles can be fitted with anchoring bolts (concrete, full brick), or to anchoring disks with bolts through the wall (silicate foam, gas silicate or hollow/porous blocks) or to a prepared steel structure of appropriate fire resistance (plasterboard wall, sandwich casing, etc.). The planarity of the wall and the floor must be maintained, with variance of no more than 3 mm/m.

For powering the drive, it is necessary to provide an electric supply of 3x400 V / 50 Hz / 16 A and to provide a non voltage signal for electrical fire signalization (EFS).
